I came to this practice due to a change in my insurance and NP Tanya Johnson is who i got referred to.. in the few months i’ve seen her it’s SUCKED. i’ve been there multiple times consecutively for the same issues and nothing she has said has been reassuring. I shouldn’t ever be on the verge of tears trying to advocate for myself ever!!! If you are looking for a practice where nobody cares whether you live or die or suffer in between, Clinical Associates Woodholme is the perfect place for you! Sarcasm aside, the practice's main office on the first floor is absolutely awful. (I had a better experience with a clinician who worked out of a separate smaller office on the building's second floor.) It's an over-crowded, impersonal bureaucracy. Dr. Kar and his staff are absolutely amazing! Always responds and listens. If I have to be seen ASAP I have an appointment before I hang up the phone. Simply, the best!
I used to love coming to this practice but as of 3 months ago, I do not feel the same way. I went in for a yearly visit in January which is covered by my insurance and doesn't carry a copay. Because I turned 40 this year, my nurse practitioner, Tanya Johnson, said that I needed to have an ECG done, which I did. It was explained to me that this NP required it so we did it.
