I can’t say enough good things about this clinic! Every doctor I saw was warm, supportive, and took time to truly listen throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Hammers was the best, she always took her time to explain everything and answer all my questions with such detail, Dr. Clay was amazing as well so great at explaining everything in a way I could easily understand, and his easygoing personality and sense of humor made me feel so comfortable. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Clay and everyone I saw at Clinic Sofia throughout my pregnancy and delivery. From the very first appointment, he made me feel comfortable and cared for. I was under Dr. Clay's care when I was pregnant with and delivered our daughter last year. I'm not quite sure I can find the right words to adequately describe my experience as a patient of his. He provided so much support and eased my anxiety after our daughter was diagnosed with fetal growth restriction. He also ensured we had a plan in place for labor and delivery after I experienced a traumatic birth with our son (under the care of a different clinic at the time). I’ve really loved having Dr. Hammers as my OB-GYN for all the care: prenatal, delivery, and ongoing / wellness checks. (I chuckled when I read another patient’s review saying she was bummed she wouldn’t be visiting weekly anymore post-delivery, because who says that? Except in my case it’s absolutely true as well! We saw Dr. Clay for both our 2023 and 2025 babies, and we had such a great experience each time. When I went into labor with our first, Dr. Wagner (who I hadn’t met before) was on call and delivered—and she was amazing! She made me feel totally at ease, as if she was my Dr. the whole pregnancy. For our 2025 baby, Dr. Clay was able to deliver, and I was so thankful. I was nervous about being induced, but he was calm, reassuring, and supportive through the whole process.
