Tristar Astronomy meeting is a great opportunity to meet others passionate about Astronomy.
Not worth the trip. You can see just as much standing in a field. The public viewings do not get to look through the large telescope, only the small ones set up outside.
My family's went on a clear Friday night and although the main telescope wasn't working they had other ones set up and people out there to help us see and discuss what was going on in the night sky. We loved it
Smart people here. Might still be sick, idk. But incorruptible people they seem to be.
We went for one of their Friday public viewings, and it was a neat experience! The main telescope is currently down, but they had several stations set up to view different things. There was also someone at each station explaining what we were looking at; so it was educational as well.
