The astronomy lecturers were very welcoming and had at least 6 telescopes on the deck and saw the satellites, orion and jupiter, mars and Stargate clusters. Its definitely a good experience and gives a great perspective of the universe and relief from the hustle and bustle of the city landscape and lighting. Very serene and happy feeling.
Tristar Astronomy meeting is a great opportunity to meet others passionate about Astronomy.
Not worth the trip. You can see just as much standing in a field. The public viewings do not get to look through the large telescope, only the small ones set up outside.
