7 hrs and 40 minutes in the ED. Busy, but appeared very disorganized. No one explained why any thing was ordered except EKG and 'labs'. Again, labs and CT scan of chest ordered. Nurse Practitioner answered a few questions concerning the CT Scan. No one asked how I felt or if I needed anything. A nice lady did offer me a blanket. Due to the lack of proper professional uniforms, everyone was not identified and name tags were turned around or obscured in some fashion. Tip: Staff should introduce self and explain Procedures. ER team professional and caring. From the time I went through the ER doors until I was assigned a room.
Definitely would recommend Clinch Valley Medical Center. The nurses were all A+. They took excellent care of me. Dr. McVey was very good also.
