Avoid this place at all costs. Last year, I had a single appointment at Clinch Valley Medical Center for some health concerns. Like any medical visit, I provided my insurance information upfront at check-in. Standard procedure. Or so I thought. During the visit, I was told I could head straight to Bluefield Hospital for a CT scan. I did. But they failed to get it pre-authorized through my insurance.
