I did a great amount of research before choosing Climate Seal for a 5-window project in our historic rowhouse in D.C. I live in a master planned community where the houses are very close to each other and I am also one street over from a major road. The home is new construction with inexpensive builder grade double pane windows. I have been in the house for a year and have had to deal with a lot of noise. Everything from people cutting their lawns to trucks and cars going down the road. I was going to buy new windows, but it was almost 10k and although I wanted quiet, I could not justify the money. We live on a very busy street. It has constant traffic throughout the day and early evening. The outside wall of our bedroom is about 50ft from the street. We had rockwool insulation installed and doubled the drywall. It did help but the bulk of the noise was coming through the windows. Ordered 10 indoor acrylic climate seal storm/noise reduction windows. All measurements were correct. Outdoor traffic/siren/barking dog noise reduced 40% -70%. Indoor heating bill reduced 20%. Per excellent instructions from Matt Pettit,,,installed myself. (82 year old do it yourself home owner) !
