Our family is deeply disappointed and heartbroken by the level of care our grandfather has received at this nursing home. We have repeatedly noticed that his basic hygiene and personal care needs are not being met. He has gone without being bathed, his clothes are not being changed regularly, his laundry is not being done, his teeth are not being brushed, and his skin and nails have been neglected. My husband was admitted for a 2 month rehab stay. He was severely neglected, I found him on the floor several times when I came to visit. His pendant was lost and never replaced therefore he could not call for help. I had to leave town for 4 days and when I returned he was in the same clothes, never cleaned up, no teeth brushed and all of his towels were missing from the bathroom. The level of neglect at this place is staggering. Call lights haven’t worked in months. Patient medications are not given as prescribed. Look elsewhere.
Avoid sending your loved one to this location! New management has come in the last 2 months and completely changed all prior management agreements. Our mother's monthly rate has now gone up 40% ($1700/month!!!) from a move in date 4 months ago due to an assessment that makes no sense with no thoughts to major life decisions that are made. The quality of care has significantly deteriorated from what we've been told by several residents and their families.
