I’ve lived in three different countries over the last few years and have always trusted IKEA. Unfortunately, the College Park branch has given me one of the worst experiences yet, specifically with their online ordering. I recently moved to DC and ordered some furniture online. When it arrived, a piece of furniture was clearly damaged and looked like it failed basic quality standards. Unreasonable wait time…
We have had the WORST IKEA experience ever! The "sales " people in the sofa area worked really hard to not answer simple questions related to the price of one sofa. We were told that we needed to get a dolly and remove the sofa from a display shelf, take it to the "as is" area to get a price for it. Thank goodness for Arthur in the "as is" department who got a price for us and pulled together a crew of workers to bring the sofa and a love seat (the love seat was sold to us by one of the warehouse workers... lol).
