We have a very old fireplace with a wide-open flue. The Flueblocker was an easy and affordable fix that I wish I'd known about earlier. The hardest part was figuring out what size I needed for our fireplace. I sent an email to Cleverly Solved asking for guidance and Jason was extremely helpful. This is a great product with great support.
I just received the smoke pencil and was impressed at the quality of the material used and the overall design. It took someone a lot of time and forethought to bring all the ideas to completion. I would encourage the reintroduction of the funnel for the DIY group as the primary use is for small leaks. A+ for value and cost.
Jason was incredibly helpful in assisting with finding the right product to meet my needs. I originally ordered a Chimney Balloon which upon install had a defect. Jason helped me problem solve the issue and was willing to send a replacement balloon but also provided me with an alternative solution to better fit my flue. Following his advice, I went with the other option (flueblocker) and if I have any future questions have no doubt I will continue to receive excellent customer service.
Using their Smoke Pencil and found more draughts than I thought possible - easy to use and fun. Excellent speed and quality of support when I had some issues. Many thanks - keep up the good work!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but Jason went out of his way to provide me with a draft blocking solution. I was replacing my gas fireplace insert with an LED fireplace. The draft was strong even with the damper closed and the LED fireplace installed. So, I needed a better permanent solution. After talking with me and sending him pictures, he explained that I had a Prefab firebox that is a metal box inside another metal box.
