My old CPAP was recalled and I was told to get a new one. I started the journey of getting a new CPAP in April 2024 and STILL don't have the machine. I had to get a new sleep study because my last one was too old. That was May, 2024. No follow up of any kind. I asked how to actually get the new machine. Nobody knew which is just unbelievable. Waiting for return call and results. No Trends or acceptable ranges. No readout or printouts. I was woken in middle of night and a lead wasn't attached or capturing info. Mychart notes can't even be understood by medical personnel. No options given. No neurologist to call.

I waited for months for an appointment that wasn't really all that helpful. She told me to practice good sleep hygiene and adjust my bedtime later. She did tell me she thought I did not have sleep apnea, so I suppose that's of some value. However, they seemed confused by me telling them I had issues falling asleep sometimes, and staying asleep other times - that my sleep left me groggy and was generally low-quality despite being technically asleep 5-7 hours a night. Doctors are good but administrative staff is complacent and unresponsive, marginally competent, and sometimes aloof and condescending. Recommend looking elsewhere for your medical needs related to sleep studies and related - this is a purchased service like any other, and the customer (patient) should pay for good customer service in addition to competent performance of the work.
