After visiting a cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic in December, 2024 I was told my condition was serious and I was in need of surgery, I was referred to Dr. Roselli and told his office would reach out to me the following week. It took 27 days for someone in Dr. Roselli's office to get back to me. By that time I had already reached out to Northwestern Memorial for help and glad that I did -- my experience there was exceptional.
I had my surgery this past mothers day. A very complex surgery. Dr. Reselli and his team is impeccable. They're as advertised. If I could give them 10 stars i would.
Dr. Roselli is an excellent surgeon and Cleveland Clinic is a state of the art hospital. My 81 year old father had open heart surgery last year for an aortic valve replacement and aneurysm repair. They fixed one thing and broke 5. He was asymptomatic and told he should have the surgery on an elective basis “before it’s too late.” Well, now his kidneys are permanently damaged. My father had an elective aneurysm and valve repair last June. I believe Dr. Roselli is a great surgeon and Cleveland Clinic is a wonderful hospital. However he greatly downplayed the risk to the kidney. Now we have traded a heart problem for a kidney problem that will likely end in permanent dialysis. Also, in the post op period, he ignored questions I had about a large fluid collection around the heart that ended up being cardiac tamponade and sending us right back to the ICU. Dr. Roselli and his team performed my husband's open heart surgery. My husband had his aortic valve replaced, along with a weakened portion of his aorta. He also removed an aortic aneurism. We're so grateful to Dr. Roselli and his team. They performed a life-saving surgery for my husband beautifully. He recovered well, even better than we expected!
