Andrea, the unit coordinator in the 7th floor was extremely rude. Unprofessional and had an inflated ego. If this is how the clinic conducts itself, we will take our leave to university hospital. Absolute lack of human care.
My 85 year old mother and 87 year old father were in a head on collision on Christmas Eve. They are still in critical condition. I learned today that the person who hit them at 10:30am was brought to the South Point ER after fleeing the scene. The police had a warrant for toxicology and the ER doctor refused to honor it. What kind of hospital would unable a criminal or protect a criminal. Had friends involved in a car accident and the person who caused the accident was taken to CC-Southpoint. The police legally requested they be tested for intoxicants and the doctor refused. The police had to transfer the suspect to another hospital for testing. How does a doctor refuse to cooperate with law enforcement? The doctor and hospital need to be charged for ignoring a court order and the law. Pathetic at best. Unethical always.
Horrible ER. Do t take loved ones here if you have a choice.
