I went to the Cleveland Clinic ER on October 14, 2025 with chest pains. My ER Physician was Dr. Valerie Lopez . I have never been treated by a more qualified physician in an ER like Dr. Lopez. She was very thorough, took time to listen, and explained everything to me completely in verbiage I could understand. She is top notch in my book.

I am a double lung transplant recipient under the care of the Cleveland Clinic. As expected with such a complex condition, I’ve experienced ups and downs and have required ER visits on several occasions. Unfortunately, this doctor was not part of the great care we are use to receiving from the Cleveland clinic. We were taken to the ER with suspicion of a thrombosis and my care was handled completely incompetently. Not only were this doctor's bedside manners rushed, but she didn’t communicate well with my actual care team that sent me to the ER in the first place.
