Myself and My Mother in law on 2 separate visits had to wait Hours for treatment. This Hospital is a DISGRACE!! When I went into Emergency they called me to triage and put an IV in my arm and gave me a Catscan without even seeing a Doctor... I am left to assume they have NO ER Doctors available. 5 star reviews are left by Employees or Friends of Employees! If you have an Emergency drive to St. John's or Fairview! Amazing how the Cleveland Clinic always somehow maintains national ranking in patient care. In 2024 this ED ranked #3 as the longest wait time in NE Ohio per news 5 Cleveland with an average wait time of 3.98. Next time go somewhere else
The lowest of the low and maybe the most incompetent people you will encounter in life. I’ve been multiple times even though I’m post op, have a fever, and have become severely dehydrated, and they refuse to admit me. I was seen by my primary care doctor and was told to go to the ER immediately. Now they have me in a freezing hallway even though one of my symptoms is chills. They will actively watch you suffer and do nothing. I hope people here lose their livelihood

I had an excellent experience in the Avon Hospital ER. It was a holiday weekend so extremely busy, but when I got into triage they accessed my situation, I did a virtual visit with a physician and labs and an ultrasound were ordered. I came in at 2:30 pm and got into an ER space in the hallway by 7:30. My test results were available, IV in place from the previous blood work, and IV antibiotics administered.
