Never ever have I experienced such awful treatment of a loved one. Left in the main hallway for hours with a broken bone, an IV line and no treatment, no updates, rude staff. This place is like an episode of HBO’s The Pitt.
First you go to triage then back in the waiting room, then back in triage for an IV then back in the waiting room then off to a CT scan then back in the waiting room to wait for over 12 hours just to get a room in the emergency room to have a doctor come in for two minutes and leave with no answers. Other people were in the waiting room one young woman actually got her test results through my chart before they even came out to her and she has septic from a recent surgery and when I was leaving mind you I got there at 4 PM an... read more
Went to the ER on a Monday evening with severe pain and high suspicion of post-surgical infection from a procedure at a different hospital. The waiting room was packed and I was nervous I would be sitting there for a long time. I was called into triage within 10 minutes of being there. Immediately out of triage I was transferred to a room and was being seen by a nurse and physician. They got my pain to a tolerable level, had scans and blood work ordered. Rude front desk window receptionist- some rude nurses - no hand washing or sanitizing upon many staff entering / exiting room- no wiping of IV hub open to the air- with alcohol before drawing blood out of it. Poor infection control precautions. Poor professional behavior from those that take care of you from entering to exiting hospital. The doctor was great that’s why I give one star.
