This place is crooked. Never let them tow your car much less let them work on it. What auto repair shop is not open on Saturday? I know the economy is rough right now, but scamming current and future customers is just not right. Channel 2 News is being called.....watch for updates.
Decent work, but expensive. Near 100% mark-up on parts and "padded" labor costs....I understand they need to make a profit, but cmon man! I was recently charged almost \$300 for parts that are available at the local parts store for \$150. Labor was at least one hour over the standard (obtained quote from another shop). Small family owned business. Honest as the day is long. Been serving the public for 40+ years. Call ahead very busy.
I will NEVER do business with this outfit again!They were rude to my husband and myself and they charged us for services not rendered. Because I complained to his face, the OWNER said he would not accept my credit card and made me return with cash!! So much for trying to satisy customers! When my son returned with the cash, the OWNER then HARRASSED him by saying they were going to charge him because mud fell off his back tires onto their DUSTY, GRAVEL parking lot. First of all, the comment on the second review and the last review are OBVIOUSLY (and ignorantly) made by employees and should be completely disregarded by any reader (her son being arrested has NOTHING to do with how they should be treated). We have had both of our cars there for repairs. Our Truck needed a new water pump. I had the part, but could not do it myself. I took in the part and they installed it with no problems. Recently our MPV needed a wheel bearing. They fixed it and when we went to pick it up, their computer was down, and they could not take payment. He let us take our van home and was very casual and appologetic about it. They keep their shop nice and tidy, they work on city vehicles, and they do towing also.
