I have been disappointed in the health districts poor performance relative to the Basic Sewage Assessment program. They claim ALL private household septic systems are being inspected, but the fact is, many of the oldest systems(circa 1965-1970)which are most likely to fail have not been inspected, while many of the newer modern systems(1-20 yrs old)have been inspected twice in the same time period and charged fees for the privilege.
