I just checked Clergy Advantage website and was surprised to see one review that was negative. I have been with Clergy Advantage for at least 20 years and find them to be above reproach, ethical and always willing to help and give me assistance with my tax needs.
Unclear contracts and services; when I asked them about an additional fee for basic tax consultation services that I had believed was covered under my initial fee, they fired me as a client after an 8 minute phone conversation. I'm willing to pay for good services and will be paying for clergy tax assistance for the next 60 years of my life, it just won't be to this company. Read your contract carefully and ask questions upfront.
Just be careful when you read your contract - they like to bold the part about getting your deposit in and stick the price increase for service in the middle of a standard paragraph. Not such an advantage for this clergy family.
