Rough start with reservation mishap turned into a very positive stay. Huge thank you to Sarah Howe for going above and beyond to deal with the situation effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
If you’re a parent or alumni visiting this hotel is definitely worth it. I got to stay here as a part of an event, so fortunately cost was not an issue for me. It is very close to Clemson University and its downtown area. Walkable if you’re someone who doesn’t mind a 20-30 minute walk! Personally I thought it was very manageable. Not operated like an actual hotel — power drills and construction noises at 8am on a Saturday morning. Stale rooms and inexperienced staff. Not a good stay. Avoid if possible.
