Gorgeous park, love it!!
Absolutely beautiful park with amazing park rangers. Very dog friendly and many trails. Lovely pond and turtles you can feed. I'm glad they don't allow fishing although some people try to sneak in and do that.... Just leave it alone you guys. Let nature have a peaceful to be. I have gone to this park since 2014 and I know the hours are not as accommodating for some but if you do get a chance to go, It's definitely a beautiful place to go walking and clear your mind.
Very nice state forest with easy hiking trails, educational opportunities throughout. Plenty of parking as well as resting areas.
Great forest for hiking. Be prepared for the long gravel road to the parking lot.
