This is THE best treatment facility we have used so far. The staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing and they are very willing to help. Melissa definitely is the best. She leads an excellent team. Everyone in her team, including but not limited to Rebecca, Jesse, Bethany, Avery and Lisa and all the RCs, a big THANK YOU to all of you for your fantastic work! My kid definitely has learned a lot from all of you guys. She'll definitely miss you guys. THANK YOU!
I am writing this review so that other parents and teens that read this will feel better about this choice- it’s a very difficult one to make. The kids are allowed to go on short walks, outings, and do yoga. They also go out to eat once per week if they are completing their meals. The home is well maintained and in a nice community. My husband and I struggled with this choice for a while and worried a lot about her being so far away, but so far our daughter has adjusted well. Your team and Monte Nido Briarcliff Manor blatantly misrepresented yourselves in order to manipulate my confidence in your team, and you further traumatizing my vulnerable and innocent daughter. Your staff’s negligent treatment of her and clear violations to her basic patient Mental Health Bill of Right’s has delayed her recovery even further with her eating disorder, and exacerbated her depression and anxiety.
