My father, who is a senior citizen, went to pay his utility bill in person and they would not allow him to pay with cash. Many of the elderly population prefer to pay cash rather than credit card. Cleco, please give your customers the option of paying cash, check or credit card in person.
This company is crooked. They deleted original billing statement of bill I paid and generated a new statement for the previous billing cycle showing the bill $7.32 more than the statement I paid and they deleted. They’ve added $7.32 to the current bill for current billing cycle and as owed from previous cycle. On the phone I was told the e mailed and mailed notices of the oversight, which they did not. And, the $7.32 was a correction to a billing error they did. When asked for proof of this they refused to provide.
Been here nearly 6 years now and we have never had any problems with cleco. They are always fast to restore power after a storm or even while it's still going on. Also had to make sure I have 5 stars to offset the trucker guy comment complaining about how how his bill is..... He even admits in his comment he has his ac set to 60 when on the road.. of course your bill will be high!!
