I asked them to remove a Polaris wall fitting with their special tool which turned out to be channel locks, a hammer and chisel! The fitting was destroyed. The pool was now losing 2 inches of water every hour. I called another pool service company who came to inspect the damage and leak. They told me that the blows from the hammer and chisel were so severe that the PVC pipe on the other side of the Polaris fitting was cracked and separated from the inlet fitting. DO NOT USE Clearwater Pools and Service of Ann Arbor! They did an extremely poor job on my pool resurface, tile, and coping. As everyone else noted, their workers are unprofessional and disrespectful of your property. The owner./President Jeff Erkfritz is unresponsive and a COMPLETE douchebag. I have sued them and have wasted hours of my time. They are not worth it. Pay a little more and go with someone that has a good rating and not the BBB rating because that is garbage.

DO NOT USE CLEARWATER POOL FOR SERVICE They are unresponsive, do not do quality work, don't return phone calls, are unprofessional and disrespectful. I wish that there was a no star rating as "one" is too high!

Terrible service. We are a health clinic and they do not return phone calls and it takes very long for them to come out to do a repair. Not happy with the service.

When we needed extra service, they never returned our several phone calls after years of having them open and close our pool. We will not go back to them.

While driving to work, I was stopped at a red light. One of Clearwater's drivers in a company van was apparently unhappy that I came to a complete stop before turning on the red light. He honked his horn as I turned, and then ran the red light to cut me off up ahead and slammed on his brakes. I tapped my horn, and he stopped the van in the middle of the road, got out and came toward my vehicle, yelling, "I'll #$%& you up".
