Had tried to stay here in the past but had scheduling conflicts then met the current owner who was completely rude and unprofessional not knowing I was a potential client. Owner tries to block public easement to BLM land, pretending it’s private (verified public easement with Shasta County courthouse). Consistently lies about status of easement to the public and local Sherriff who now know better.

Such an amazing place to spend time. The lodge itself is a window to the past with its gorgeous wood construction and meticulous maintenance. The accommodations are comfortable and cozy. Food is incredible with enjoyable dining and conversation with the other guests and staff. The fishing program is likely the most diverse in the state. You won’t fish the same water twice. You will feel at home and can feel immediately that the staff genuinely cares about your experience.
