Clearwater Lights is amazing! Super friendly and responsive customer service, top-quality LED lights, and fast, on-time shipping. Everything for the install was included, and with their clear instructions, I easily installed and programmed the lights myself. The result? Incredible brightness and quality. Highly recommend!
The hardware is awesome, but support and service is terrible. Bought for my BMW F900 XR and received installation instructions for an S1000XR and it's way off. Emailed to get some help and got a photo back that helped a little, but the rest? Best hope you are a handy mechanic and electrician. If this is what 'Made in America' gets you, no wonder folks look elsewhere. edit; Thanks for the follow up. The hardware is great and glad to hear there is now a better guide.
Glen and Billy are both incredible as is everyone at Clearwater lights. Billy helped me solve a problem over the phone while on the road with no hesitation from him or acted like I was inconveniencing him in anyway. Glen took my call while at the rally in Lebanon , Tenn and helped me diagnose an issue immediately that was causing all my light to malfunction . I've been running a set of Clearwater Darlas on my FJR1300 since 2017. After 80,000-plus miles of lane-splitting in the greater Los Angeles area, they're still working exactly as designed. They've been through hot, cold monsoon rains, and they just keep performing perfectly; and I believe they're probably the main reason I haven't been taken out by a car (yet). The quality of every component is absolutely top notch. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Oh hell yes! Excellent service, excellent product.
