I toured several eldercare facilities and this was one of the better ones by far. My mother has now been a resident in Memory Care for 3 months and it seems to be a good fit. There are 2 nice gardens, the food is decent, and the caretakers are kind and professional. They have been very helpful with any issue that comes up and they send texts to update me on my mother's participation in any activities. Clearwater at Sonoma Hills is an exceptional community. The staff is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cares about each resident. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and well maintained, creating a warm and comfortable environment. What stands out the most is how the residents are treated. Clearwater felt like a welcoming, friendly environment as soon as I walked in. It is clean and feels upscale. The sense of community is everywhere. People greet you when you walk by from residents to employees. The layout feels very functional; with a communal courtyard and then also private nooks for reading and playing games, there is a little place for everyone.
