I went to False Creek Healthcare Centre for lower back surgery, at L2-L3 & L4-L5. Dr. Cho's operating team were caring, detailed in explaing each step of the procedures. Others that I came in contact with such as Candace "Pre-op", Post Care group "Kimberly & Kathlaine", and lastly Lorna "SDC", were all great! The only downside I had was that I was not informed that "only patients" were allowed on the premises. My wife and the other group who were waiting to get in, were dissappointed.
I had surgery booked for July 23rd after a long and painful wait. I was just informed it was cancelled—with no explanation. Despite having a severity score of 23 out of 24, and being told repeatedly how badly I needed this procedure, no one will give me a clear reason why my case was dropped. The anesthesiologist apparently left a note, but I’m not allowed to know what it says. its MY file. I should be allowe access to this information. This isn’t just disappointing, it’s dangerous.
