When I called to ask about refinancing my home they picked up the phone and said hello. When I asked if it was Clearline Mortgage he said "yes. Who is this?". He seemed confused and annoyed that a stranger would call. He then put me on hold. I didn't speak with him further because after being on hold for 5 minutes I hung up. In my opinion if you are a mortgage broker you should be more professional and not be rude when a potential customer calls.
I recently just did refinance with them, I am not thrilled by their quality of service - 1. they are slow and have changed my closing statement and delayed the closing several times due to the last minute request for information, why cannot they be more organized and not assume things?. 2 they don't think in the shoes of consumer, e.g. they didn't advise customer on the differences of the closing date.
