I left this treatment center last Tuesday and my case manager told me I had an appointment Wednesday at an outpatient center. Wednesday morning I called the outpatient to confirm and they told me they had informed my case manager Ann the previous week that I had not been accepted. I was discharged with no plan. They told me before I left that they were going to call in my nightmare medication to my pharmacy because they had let me run out of it. That happened several times during my stay. I am incredibly grateful for the care and support my son received at Clearbrook. The staff was very welcoming and compassionate. The treatment he received really addressed his needs and challenges, and I saw real progress throughout his stay. My mom went into treatment at Clearbrook back in August and since she’s been back home I have seen such a positive change in her. All she talks about is how amazing the staff and even the other patients were there and how good of an experience it was despite the circumstances. The amount of support the staff at Clearbrook gives to not only their patients but the family members as well is amazing and we couldn’t have chosen a better place for my mom. Keith from Family Services has been a great help to me as my boyfriend started his recovery journey at Clearbrook. He spent time explaining the process and making me feel assured in a situation that felt very out of control. Even 6 months later Keith still takes time to check in on me. I found it very helpful to have a resource just for myself and a low pressure structure of texting Keith made things even easier.
