I found moving into Banyan to be a great decision. The residences are very well maintained, the appliances newer, and the amenities were very nice. Furthermore, it feels like more of a sober community rather than simply a bunch of guys living in the same building. I had moved here from another transional home where I had previously lived for three months, and the differences were very noticeable. As a newcomer to sobriety and to the recovery community I was at first apprehensive at the thought of living with a group of guys I've never met, in a place I've never seen in person. I've had an excellent experience at Banyan. The property is nice/well maintained, and the housemates are required to keep their own assigned section clean. We are held accountable to attend recovery meetings, get home on time, and pass random drug tests and work a 12 step program to be a resident. Because of this accountability, we are a pretty tight group of recovering addicts who relate to and support one another's recovery. Banyan has kept me sober and I plan on staying indefinitely.

Banyan truly is an amazing place to live if you are serious about recovery and willing to listen and take advice from others and just believe that nobody here will steer you in the wrong direction.
