I took lessons from David Smith for 3 1/2 years and I can definitely say that my understanding of technique and skill when it came to singing greatly improved. He has a great vision of what a persons voice should sound like depending on their true voice and style. He has great musical knowledge which also benefited me in my progress. Our son has vocal lessons with David and we are very happy with him. We didn’t know where to go to as our kid was a beginner and are so glad we found David. He is well prepared and patient, and our son enjoys the lessons and can definitely see the improvement.

Cannot recommend Clear Lake Voices enough! Mr. Smith was an amazing voice coach for my daughter, from 6th grade all the way through 12th. He really helped develop her voice over the years, and she ended up with quite a bit of choral accolades when all was said and done. If you or your family are looking for a highly skilled voice teacher, this is the one!!

David is a great teacher. I did not have any music education but always wanted to learn to sing. David had helped me learn how to train my voice. He is very patient and pays attention to detail which has helped me improve a lot.
