Lovely house we have rented in Stradbroke Island, great sunsets last night
Designed for summer and a great location with views across the beach from the deck and living area. The bedrooms are spacious with good storage. Great range of utensils, etc. But, and there are a few "buts"! Lots of maintenance required. Missing smoke detectors in kitchen and living area. Keys that require quite a bit of jiggling to open any doors. These last two, along with only one way out, are possible death hazards in case of fire. Stayed here with my in-laws and their children, such a great place to stay. Really well equipped kitchen, had everything you’d really need on a stay. The beds were so Comfortable and everything was clean and looked well looked after. The view was great in the morning and evenings and the location is perfect for young families who need are looking for ease and convenience. Loved our stay and would be so happy to return.
