Excellent modular home builder. They go out of their way to make the process easy and the home very nice
Recently did some work on one of he new homes. I can say, quality definitely escapes this company. Install crews are lazy, home is not complete and no troubleshooting capabilities what so ever. Would not recommend. Cost savings and better quality with a site build. Read the reviews. They should be sued for false advertising.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the house I purchased. I expected a brand new home, and was given something that a highschool construction class would have built, only they would actually have some oversight and do things properly. Schult sent some people over to "fix" the issues, but that didn't do much. Especially the gouge in the floor that they patched with color matched paint. The experience with Clayton was absolutely horrible, they don't stand behind their products!!!! Had to replace windows at 3 months, replace shingles at 4 months, thank God I chose to do the rest of the house myself because they use very low quality materials!!!!!! And they didn't stand behind any warranty!!!!! Absolutely failed!!!!
Last year we purchased a manufactured home built by Clayton Homes to be used as our cabin. First of, we could not be any happier with our new place on the lake! It is well designed and extremely comfortable. As with anything new, we have experienced some minor warranty issues.
