Horrible company. Haven’t been in the house a year and the porch is falling apart already. No one even set our keys. We literally had to watch a YouTube video to set the keys so we could open our door to our home. Everything is poor quality but yet the house is almost $300,000. Clayton Homes – The Worst Investment I’ve Ever Made Buying a home from Clayton Homes has been one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The poor craftsmanship, ongoing issues, and complete lack of support make this home feel like it was thrown together with paper clips and duct tape. This has been the most awful experience of my entire life dealing with this business. I wish I could just post some pictures of what has been going on.
I have a lot to say about my brand new Clayton home and none of it is good. And as for the serious issue we have repeatedly reached out about that has been dismissed, I suppose we will have to do it the hard way with our lawyer. I do not recommend this company, most of the finishes in my home are crooked, broken, don't work properly and we have a hole in our well the company refuses to address.
