We opted out of buying a home from the branch here in Marion, Ohio because the salesman won't even get off his lazy butt to show us a home on their lot. We bought a home from the Frazeburg branch and we really regret this decision. The salesman there made mistakes with the carpeting and kitchen sink faucet plus other items and both he and the GM are trying to back out of their warranty to fix their mistakes. Donot buy a clayton home they have unskilled builders they use warped plywood ,my house is only 3 yr. Old i had a hole in my roof the siding is falling off. Had to replace the flooring. There exstended warranty service covers nothing.and the people they send for repairs are backyard mechanics. I have allready spent 10 thousand in repairs you have been warned
We would not recommend Clayton homes to anyone . their houses are cheap . you can ride roller coasters on the floor . the wall has cheap drywall on and they use nails that don't hold anything . we changed our counter top as they didn't make it like they were suppose to . I would not get a pre made house again . stick build is far better .
