Genuine service loved my home buying experience with them!
Do not use Clayton! Go anywhere else! Between the things that were said and not done and the horrible sub contractors, I highly recommend going somewhere else. Typical business that wants nothing to do with you or the home after the sale. Don't waste your money.

I’m so upset with Clayton Homes. Everything I call about that’s wrong with my trailer, that just made a year old, they can’t do anything about it. I even purchased the 5 year warranty. My door was slammed open in my sons room and the door knob went throw the wall they won’t come fix it, they won’t let me buy the same piece of wall from them for me to fix, and they just won’t try to help with anything. Hi Ashley. We apologize for your frustrations. With your home being out of the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, you would need to contact your HBPP in regard to a 5-year extended warranty. Warranties do not include damages done to the home such as a door being slammed. We definitely want to create a satisfied customer experience, however, it’s important to understand that certain items would be deemed home-owner maintenance items.
This has been the worst experience ever. We put down a $500.00 deposit on a trailer that we was told was refundable. Long story short we picked out a trailer, and the land. The appraisal came back $36,000.00 short and we was told we would have to pay the difference or switch the trailer or the land in order for the deal to go through. I feel like a company like this shouldn’t have issues like this. I feel that we was being over priced. No one could say where the discrepancy was. The sales rep I spoke with could care less about helping in getting prices on the homes we were interested in Said he just didn’t have time to contact them.. and wasn’t interested in doing his job basically without a deposit. Closing on the sale of our home very soon. So we are actual serious Buyers. Don’t waste your time going here they don’t want to “work” on finding you anything you’re interested in! Not only do I love my home, but I love the service received here. This is not the first, but the SECOND gift basket I’ve received. I’ve never been spoiled like this before 😍 Great job Clayton Homes Lafayette! 10/10 for sure!
