My husband had eye surgery at Clayton Eye Center on June 22nd and they insisted we pay upfront over twice what my insurance said our part would be but they wouldn’t do the surgery without us paying the amount so we skipped paying other bills, borrowed money from people etc. and got the surgery. We then got our EOB’s in the mail showing that we overpaid $1002.87. I have called and talked to 7 or more people, (since June & this is January!) waited on hold more hours than I want to admit.
