I am so disappointed in Clayton Homes Athens Texas. My husband and I purchased a home cash and waited months for the build. There have been so many issues with our new home from the walls to the trim. When I called Britney she had told me in an email someone from construction would be calling. That’s been a month. I’ve sent her emails and have had no reply. I do not recommend purchasing your new home from Clayton Homes. The work is sloppy and clearly the customer service lies to you and does not care for their customers.
It's funny how they preach about how you're apart of a family when you work there. Then you explain your situation and you are late to work with 2 free bees left and you get let go because there's " to many problems" so you get let go 2days from your one month.

After being basically homeless for 8 months after our home was destroyed by a tornado, the day our new home was to be delivered, we get a call saying sorry about your luck but we ain't coming. . 8 months of anxiety and depression so that literally at the last minute being told "we ain't coming". The excuse? A truck broke down. You really expect me to believe you only have one truck?
I deliver to this location every week and it’s always just easy. They stay out your way. They unload you fast and everyone’s very friendly.
