I had decided to go with Clayco to install Solar Panels on my home because the company's Project Manager Mike Kirk was well informed, professional, and instilled confidence in the quality of the work. However, throughout the couple months work, promised phone calls from the office were often late and had to be prompted by me to communicate. At completion of installation, I had over 2 dozen lag bolts driven down through my ceiling. Extremely poor customer service. They claim to provide system monitoring to ensure efficient operations. My system was not operating properly for 2 months. When I alerted them to this fact it took them 2 weeks to get a repairman to my home. They told me that they don't monitor systems despite what they tell you during their sales pitch. So apparently the homeowner is supposed to check the monitoring system on a daily base . As a result of their incompetence, I have almost a $1000 worth of electric bills that I have to pay..
I can't say enough about how great they are. Very nice, honest, and did a great job on the installation. Our bills are what they said they would be. We had them installed in the middle of December 2024, so 4.5 months so far. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended.
