I am very pleased with the service I have received from CRAC. My dog presented with a difficult eye condition in both eyes and after taking her to TWO eye specialists in Houston, I have received the most specialized treatment from Dr. Smith. Besides the fact that he has ridiculously reasonable fees (which make my husband happy) he takes the time to listen to you, brainstorm and research diagnostic options when more common treatments are not working. This is the best vet in Houston. Dr. Smith and his staff are loving, caring, welcoming and knowledgable. I came to Dr. Smith for a 2nd opinion (from my long time vet) on a diagnosis on my dog and I am so happy with the service I recieved, I will not be going anywhere else in the future. I highly recommend Clay Rd Animal Clinic and Dr. Smith. They are clearly animal people there. We must stick together! :)

Caring and Compassionate – I recently accompanied my sister to have her dog put to sleep at Clay Road Animal Clinic. The compassion, empathy and gentleness everyone there exhibited made this very difficult passage bearable. Dr.Smith knelt down with the dog, stroking his head and talking to him the whole time until the very end at the same time consoling us. I can not say enough good things about this clinic and staff. This is a good doctor and a good man.
Best Vet Visit Ever! – My 8-yr-old cat absolutely hates going to the vet. She's usually a nightmare patient, but not with Dr. Smith. His gentle, yet confident handling made her seem like just any other kitty. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Smith, his staff, and the affordability of their services.
Great Vet & Staff! – I just got a rescue dog and took her to this clinic by recommendation from a pet sitter for our other dog. I loved how caring and concerned the vet & the staff seemed to be. They treat your pets like their own!
