I love Clay Pot, my partner and I have eaten there many times. Unfortunately our most recent experience was awful. The food was generally bland and unseasoned. The only thing I ordered that was flavorful and good was the pho broth cup (which was delicious) and the plum sake which was also amazing. My partner ordered a vermicelli bowl which was supposed to be spicy. it was not spicy, the noodle was the wrong kind of noodle, and there was iceberg lettuce in it for some reason? The pho and spicy soup is so good!
The food is the best and the owners are the most gracious people you will ever know. I wish we lived closer so we could participate in the things that clay pot has going on this summer. We love Clay Pot and sure do miss them so much. Have a great time at your events and know that the Pittman’s miss y’all much
