I went there recently for a team lunch. Food was very average tasting and the dishes were wrongly written and kind of confusing. For instance one dosh was written as aloo gobi (potato and cauliflower curry) but it is actually a cabbage dish. The food also tastes cold and stale. The oranges served in the buffet were also old. And surprisingly their gulab jamun is hard inside which is quite unfortunate for a north Indian restaurant. Altogether not a good experience and definitely not coming back.

Clay Oven is a really good Indian restaurant in downtown Livermore right across the street from the Livermore cinema. I had their Punjabi Lamb ( Spicy lamb stew). My wife had her favorite stand by, chicken tikka massala. We shared in order of garlic naan. It was all good. And it was incredibly inexpensive. Services also outstanding.

One again another place that was closed at 4pm when on google it shows that it’s open until 9pm. It’s actually a common thing I’ve noticed in this area, people who stop by these town rely on the information displayed online. A 30 minutes detour for nothing. Don’t say you’re open when you’re not, it’s just a waste of everyone’s time.
