Not happy with Clay. Not at all. I’ve lived in this county my entire life. My parents had Clay, now I have it. It seems like it’s getting more money hungry. Everything is also automated and you can’t speak to a normal human being. Walked into Clay electric this morning (March 25, 2025) and there are 2 women sitting at the front counter. There was a Caucasian lady who was in the middle of assisting another customer and an African-American lady who was not doing anything. The African-American lady looks up at me and quickly looks down and isn’t doing anything. After several minutes, the Caucasian lady finishes up with the customer she is working on and calls me over to assist me. Don't call or go to Lake City office if you need help. Best to call the main office. Lake City office wanted me to drive out and get meter numbers from the meters to get my power turned on.
