Have called and left message after message,, asking if they have someone to mow a blind corner just east of the Zion Church. It's been 2weeks. Do you just show up and borrow the tractor and mower ?
Called them with a road problem, they came out and took care of it next day. Still work to do, but got it safe for travel.
Have done well with the funding available, I appreciate their efforts.
Even though, it seems to be a forsaken town in a lot of ways. The County Highway still gets down here and mows the roadsides in town. They also will still be here after a snowfall with a truck, salt and plow. If there is a road that gets a little forsaken... A phone call always seems to get it fixed. Blessed that the County Highway Department hasn't forgotten that Coalmont is still on the maps.
Where are the trucks? Ashboro area once again untouched. I personally plow my roads on every heavy snowfall with my tractor. Don't talk about budget. I know the money is there. No sand, salt or plow. WTH?
