Food was out of sight. Tremendous crabcakes and hush puppies. Vegetables are so fresh. Great bartender. Gotta hit this place.
The servers were lovely! Very attentive and quick. The easy beachy atmosphere makes it easy to go from sand to dinner and with kids, that’s very much appreciated. But the food…the food. We ordered seven different dishes (4 seafood, 3 sandwiches) and all four seafood meals were extremely overcooked. The grouper was inedible, shrimp rubbery. Adding insult to injury, the sandwich orders came out so much earlier than the rest that half our party was done eating even before the rest of us started. A few weeks back, I paid $300 for a family dinner. It was quite literally the most bland & pathetic seafood Ive ever had in my life. I ordered 3 large, shareable seafood dishes. The first dish was $55 or $65 & it looked like the cook put the seafood in a pot of boiling water, & then poured that in a bowl. There was no juice, no seasoning, no flavor, nothing.
