I have been going here for over a year now and don't have anything bad to say. My cats are always treated with the best care and you can tell they truly care about them. I have had cats with dental surgeries, routine check ups and testing done and everything was handled well. Another thing I would like to add is to shout out some of the front staff who gave my 4 year old some coloring pages and markers while he waited with me for our appointment. We followed our longtime vet here and couldn’t be happier. I am very nervous about my high anxiety senior pup seeing vets they don’t know and we had a situation where we needed to get her in to be seen we ended up seeing Dr Evert and though I requested that my pup only see our regular vet at all possible I was so happy and very pleased and reassured with Dr. Evert. Very happy with the care of the entire team. Dr. Gottschalk is kind, compassionate, and does very well with my difficult dogs. And I love that they had a Christmas tree set to for a photo opportunity!!
Dr. Gottschalk has twice provided excellent and compassionate emergency care for my 12 YO medical alert Yorkshire Terrier. She communicates a plan for care extremely well, taking the time to explain procedues and test results. Unknowlingly last summer, I let Pocket Rocket explore on a lawn recently treated with chemicals. Within 48 hours, he was scratching his chest raw.We think poison was systemic and damaged his kidneys. I have been coming to Claus Paws for 11 years. First with my parent's pets and then with my own. Even though I moved further away, I stayed with Claus Paws because of their dedication and compassion. They have always taken great care of our pets and I highly recommend them.
