Dr. Perez was a hell of a nice guy. I went through a barbaric procedure with him recently and I can say it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I had angioplasty and a stent placed in my fistula. I was begging all throughout the procedure (2+hours ) for him to stop because I didn’t think I could stand what he was doing to me. My arm was restrained so I wouldn’t be able to move it. The pain from the angioplasty and the ramming of the catheter in my fistula was horrible. Update: I have now been with Dr. Perez for 6 months and could not be happier with the care and attention. We see him at dialysis clinic and he always has something truly helpful to say. —— I have had trouble finding a good nephrologist in Las Cruces due to retirements and insurances. I was delighted to find Dr. Perez who listens to patients, knows how to fix dialysis catheters and works with clinics such as Fresenius. (He is clearly held in high regard by the techs and nurses). My Husband had been on an unwanted medication for years. Dr Perez- Ledezma not only got him off that medication but 2 3/4 other blood pressure meds. He listens and works fast. Doesn't drag it out, takes care of business and is smart as can be!
