She is a great person and very caring doctor. Very detailed and takes her time to explain things to the patient. This is rare to see these days.
As a first-time patient trying to establish care with a primary care physician, my experience with Claudia Makhoul was extremely disappointing. She came across as rude and overly pushy from the start. Based on prior reviews, I expected someone who listens to patients, but that was not my experience at all. I had to repeatedly advocate for myself just to get a referral for a mammogram, which should not have required that level of back-and-forth. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Makhoul. She is truly the best in town extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She takes her time with her patients and makes sure nothing is overlooked, which gives you a lot of confidence in her care. What really stood out to me was when my mom was in a lot of pain. I had called and left a message with the nurse, and Dr. Makhoul personally took the time to call back herself to check on my mom.
