I saw Dr. Lagam at her New Hyde Park office. All was good with the staff and the x-ray tech was though. When I met doc, I appreciated her directness. We discussed the fact that being my back is fused I was at greater risk for hip dislocation after surgery. She told me that with the use of the robotic arm the chances would be lessened. I actually just signed on to get Dr. Lajam’s information for a friend. Dr. Lajam repaired my knee after I completely tore my ACL in martial arts. It’s been about six years since the surgery and my knee is fine. I’ve had limited residual pain and was able to go back to being active. As far as Dr. Lajam herself, I found her to be warm, with a great sense of humor and willingness to listen.
