Dr. Stephen treated me many years ago and I was truly blessed because he identified and treated me for a very serious ailment! I appreciate his services so much and would definitely use his services again!
His staff are unprofessional. For over 4 years I have been trying to get life insurance and his staff will not respond to the calls or faxes of the insurance specialists. I have seen it first hand. Always some excuse of them changing their systems. HELLO??!! It has been nearly a year and no follow up to my personal visits to the office.
I don't have too much issue with the doctor as I do with his staff. Very bad about returning phone calls; don't respond to insurance companies when they try to call or fax information. Now I have to play role of coordinator since they are so unresponsive and take paper work in.
Dr. Stephens is a quack and negligent. Unfornately he has been treating my 87 year old father for the last 4 years. My family has tried to get my dad to change doctors. My dad ended up in emergency and should have been release to a Skilled Nursing Facility for Occupational and Physical Therapy. Dr. Stephens and his Care Coordinator, Ron will lie to your face about the status of paperwork. Long story short went to Doctor Stephens over two months ago for a sever pain in left foot, during this time only saw the doctor in person about three times with a grand total of about 10 minutes face time. Have had four blood tests and two x rays, one of which was wrong. No closer to resolving my issue then the day I walked in. His staff is totally incompetant and I feel I wasted a lot of time. Still in a lot of pain and it seems he couldn't care less.
Very nice doctor. He has been taking care of my mother for last 25 years. Short waiting time to see the doctor. Helpful and friendly office staff.
Dr. Stephens is a great Dr., but his office/staff are ridiculous. 20+ minute wait times ON THE PHONE, just trying to contact a human being. While on hold, am asked to leave a message EVERY TEN SECONDS but nobody has EVER returned a call from this office.
FINALLY I FOUND A GREATER FAMILY DR IN OUR AREA, DR STEPHENS ITS AMAZING, AWESOME PHYSICIAN ALWAYS CARING HIS PATIENCE AND ALSO CONTROL MY DIABETES, HARDLY RECOMMEND FOR FAR THE BEST IN THE BAY AREA. A.Merino. A VERY , VERY HAPPY PATIENT
