Captain Ben and crew provided us a fantastic week of wildlife viewing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and eating. The boat is absolutely beautiful! The Chef is excellent and provided for some special dietary needs with lovely meals. The crew is very engaging, and made us feel special and very comfortable all week. All are very knowledgeable about Alaska and the wildlife. What a great memory for us!

If u are looking to experience the real Alaska in a small group, this is the only way to go! Family owned and operated as husband, wife, son run the trip. Plenty of room in a truly unique boat. Captain Ben is the best captain and really goes out of his way to make sure every minute of you experience is optimized. Wildlife viewing and activities daily. Would go again!
Our time on the MV Discovery was the fulfillment of a dream I didn’t know I had. Alaska has been on our bucket list for years, but we don’t enjoy group tours or cruise ships. When I saw an article in NW Travel Magazine about MV Discovery and crew, I finally knew how I wanted to see Alaska. And it was the experience of a lifetime.
