Another unbelievable AK adventure with Ben, Jamie, and this year Brandan and Rolando on MV Discovery. A completely different experience in August with 12 whales bubble-feeding, salmon running everywhere and bears, bears, bears. Comfortable staterooms, incredible food, and terrific hikes- one can't ask for more! I highly recommend this incredible experience!
We just wrapped up an 8-day trip with Capt Ben and his crew. We had an amazing time! Ben's many years of experience definitely shows. He always had us in the right place experiencing to right things -- whales, bears, salmon, eagles, glaciers, and incredibly beautiful hidden bays each evening. And every meal onboard was excellent. The Discovery is the perfect purpose built luxury yacht for touring through the waters of Southeast Alaska!
Every day on the Discovery was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The family-run crew and Chef Rolando made this trip not just unique, they accommodated every wish and hope we had for it. From watching whales bubble feeding to close bear encounters, with plenty of opportunities to fish, we experienced the closest thing to fairytale nature. Very comfortable boat with super friendly crew! Ben knows all the spots, Jamie and Rolando make meals a joy and Brandon is everywhere at once! Great family vacation.
Wonderful trip with Ben, Jamie, Brandon, Rolando on the Discovery. We saw amazing wildlife every day and did amazing day trips from the boat. The boat itself is beautiful and comfortable, the food was delicious.
